Techical Difficulties

OK if I’ve done this right what you should have here is a you-tube video of the drama project which is a short clip of the final performance of “Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner”. There have been a few technical difficulties along the way not least that the video starts with the word “presenting” but does not say who it is presenting. They are in fact Dale, Jason, Marcus, Margaret, Luke and David. OK “Action!”

Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

211605-2.jpg

On Friday afternoon six young people from the SMASH Youth Project performed a piece of theatre that they had written and developed with the help of the Sixth Sense theatre company. It was entitled “Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner” and told their various stories through dialogue and drama along with Dance and even song (Marcus singing a cappella!). The acrobatic pair above are Jason and David and below are also Margaret, Marcus, Dale and Luke. The performance was attended by teachers, parents and representatives from children’s services. There is also some video footage which i am trying to upload to You-tube. If i am successful i will of course put a link on this sight. Stills are subject to copyright and appear here courtesy of Alan Owens and Wiltshire Newspapers.

Sooooo sorry

sorry.jpg

It would seem i have misidentified a couple of people in photos published on this blog recently. They would be married to each other as well, wouldn’t they? The man at the front of the raft is not Richard Roberts after all, nor George Washington crossing the Delaware but Jamie Collins-Clifton who spent the day with us and will be joining team 17 in May. Andrea Collins-Clifton (team 16) is also pictured in the Mayor’s passing out parade second from left but not mentioned in dispatches. Awful sorry chaps.
